One key pillar of Connectors for Jira’s design is keeping the app’s processing and storage inside Atlassian’s Cloud Ecosystem. This lets us focus more on product features and less on maintaining a separate cloud infrastructure. Most importantly, our customers can rest assured their data does not leave Atlassian.

Atlassian Forge

The Connectors for Jira app is entirely built using Atlassian Forge. App data is stored in and remains on Atlassian’s Cloud Ecosystem.

• Hosting: Connectors for Jira is hosted on and fully operates within Atlassian infrastructure.

• Authentication: Authentication to Atlassian or any external services, such as Google, is handled by Atlassian Forge.

• Data: Data is stored within Atlassian, with tenant isolation in mind.

Stored Google data

When linking files, folders, or events to your issues, Connectors for Jira only stores the file, folder, or event identifier (ID).

The app delegates permissions to Google, which ensures that users can only see the data they have the right Google permissions for.
