Integration

Integration uses pre-existing automation recipes that come with Checklist for monday. These recipes allow you to automate the most common checklist actions, without needing to build your own recipe.

Not sure how to use integration? To learn how, see the monday documentation monday.com Integration.

For ideas on what to do with integration, see What you can do with Checklist for monday | Integration/Automation.

Don’t see what you need? To learn how to create your own automation recipes, see Automation.

Recipes

There are currently four automation recipes included with Checklist for monday.

Recipe

What it does

Use one of these two recipes to automatically add one or more checklist items to a checklist when a monday item is created.

For example, you can use one of these recipes to automatically add a default checklist to new monday items (see Add checklist items when a monday item is created).

To add several checklist items at once, enter each checklist item on its own line.
To add sections, type # (the pound sign and a space) at the start of the line. All items after a section will automatically be part of that section.

The only difference between the two recipes is the second one also updates the progress column.

Use one of these two recipes to automatically check or uncheck all checklist items on a checklist when a monday item status changes.

For example, you can use one of these recipes to make sure a checklist is checked off when a monday item’s status is set to Done (see Check or uncheck all checklist items when a monday item's status changes).

The only difference between the two recipes is the second one also updates the progress column.
