You can encourage your customers to earn points or a discount by referring a friend. Referrals can be very enticing to both the referring and the referred customers since they both get a reward from engaging in the referral program.
Rewards
Your customers can either receive points or a fixed amount discount. Rewarding with points pairs perfectly with the points program if you have it enabled.
While the referred customer gets their reward after joining your reward program, the referring customer only gets their reward after the referred customer places their first order.
On-site message
A nudge message can be configured to inform customers that the referral program is active and what they can gain if they participate.
You can configure how long it takes before the message appears, its content and limit on what page the message can appear.
If the referral program is enabled, it will also show up in the popup widget.
Referral popup
The referral popup is the message that appears to the referred customer when they land in your shop a with the referral link.
Referral landing page
This is the URL referred customers will land in. By default, this will be your home page, but you can configure it to another page, like a welcome page.
